Sreeja Akula has made history as the second Indian paddler to reach the Olympic Singles Round of 16, securing her spot with a 4-2 win over Zheng Jian.

Sreeja Akula Claims WTT Contender Singles and Doubles Titles in Lagos

Sreeja Akula made history by becoming the first Indian paddler to clinch the WTT Contender singles title in Lagos while also securing victory in the doubles competition.

SFR Snehit made history by winning a bronze medal

in the individual category in BRIC Games currently under way in Kazan, Russia. This year more than 4000 international athletes from 97 countries in 27 different sports. Snehit, who narrowly missed Paris Olympics berth, marched ahead in the tournament with a positive note by defeating China's Yuchang Tao 3-1 in Round 32. He lost to the ultimate tittle winner Kirill Skachkov 0-3 in the semi-finals to claim a bronze medal.

Sreeja, Snehit shine in UTT National Ranking Championships

Arjuna Awardee in 2022, Women's Singles and Doubles Champion titles at the 83rd Senior National and Inter-State Table Tennis Championships held in April 2022. She was also a part of the Indian team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games where she won Gold medal in mixed doubles event with Sharath Kamal. She was the Gold medalist in Women's Doubles and Women's Team events in Table tennis at the 2019 South Asian Games. Recently, in January 2024, she won her maiden international tournament at the WTT Feeder Corpus Christi in Texas.

and Achanta Sharath Kamal has been awarded Khel Ratna Award which is the heighest award in Sports, the award ceremony held on 30/11/2022 at Darbar hall Rashtrapati Bhavan New Delhi. The Ceremoney was attended by Mr.P.Prakash Raju and Mr.P.Nagender Reddy along with Coach Mr.Somnath Ghosh and Mr.Praveen and Mrs.Sai Sudha Parents of Sreeja.

Telangana State Table Tennis Association (TSTTA) was formed in 2014 post the formation of new State of Telangana with the intention to promote & serve the Table Tennis fraternity with full commitment, sincerity and dedication. The main objective of the Association is to create awareness about the game at Schools, Colleges and Clubs in various districts and also nurture the upcoming and talented players to help them perform both National & International level.
