About Us
The Telangana State Table Tennis Association (TSTTA) is the governing body for Table Tennis in the state of Telangana, formed in 2012 post the formation of the Telangana State. TSTTA is dedicated to promoting and developing the sport of Table Tennis at the grassroots level as well as at the competitive level.
At TSTTA, we strive to provide a platform for Table Tennis enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels to engage in the sport. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn and improve your skills or a professional player aiming for National and International recognition, TSTTA is here to support and guide you throughout your Table Tennis journey.
To develop young talents in the state. we organize various coaching camps, training sessions, and
tournaments to identify and nurture promising players. Through these initiatives, we aim to build a
strong pool of talented Table Tennis players who can represent Telangana at various National and
International events. TSTTA also works closely with schools, districts to promote table tennis as a
healthy and competitive sport. We organize Inter-School Tournaments to encourage young players
to actively participate in the sport and hone their skills.
We believe in the power of teamwork and collaboration. TSTTA actively collaborates with other
state and national table tennis associations, as well as with government bodies, to create an
ecosystem that encourages participation and excellence in the sport. Telangana State has the
privilege of producing National and International players. Mir Kasim Ali, former National Champion
and the Arjuna Awardee in Table Tennis. He is also the finalist in Common Wealth Table Tennis
Championship prior to 1970s. G. Jitender, Shubham Sharma, Nikhat Banu, Naina, V S Hari Krishna,
Vighney Reddy, Mohd. Ali, are some of our talented players who played at National & various
International tournaments. Currently, A Sreeja, SFR Snehit, have been representing India at various
International Championships and keeping our flag flying high.
TSTTA also has a pool of trained referees to ensure fair and smooth conduct of table tennis
tournaments in the state. We constantly update our officials' knowledge and provide them with the necessary resources and support to enhance their capabilities.
